Ok.. I'm back from JYC..
JYC rox so much now I miss it so badly...
Ok.. I left on the 17th Nov Friday. heres wad happened:
17th Nov Friday:
I checked in with the rest.. got some cup noodles from cold storage at eastwood for lunch, got our groups and stuff.. my group members were shaun,daniel, grace, min li, venessa, theodora and veera. The rest were either JYC comm members that were posted 2 our group or they didn't come.. we did some worship and some Icebreakers after that.
Next, we played some games abt finding clues and stuff. Anw,when I got my secret pal.. I couldn't believe it! It was Guo Nian! X)
anw.. when it was time 2 slp.. I found it uncomfortable so.. I used my Jack N Jill chips as a pillow :D
1 more thing, matthew snores! like a dinosaur... and I was sleeping beside him!!! I had to sleep under the table at the corner so the snoring wasn't so bad...
that was all for the 1st day...
18th Nov Saturday:
Woke up, washed up, and it was time for 5BX(morning exercise)...
Went for breakfast after that... when we finished breakfast and went back 2 our dorms, me and Michael played sword fighting with the foam matts.. actually foam mat fighting.. inside the dorm haha
Then we started wrestling.. as in play play 1 lah.. then Benedict joined.. while wrestling I accidentally hit Michael in the.. erm.. wrong part. He got so mad he wanted 2 bash me.. his face totally red sia.. but of course he couldn't lah.. cuz he smaller than me so.. I grabbed his wrists to stop him... when he broke free, Ryan held him back.. I didn't wanna fight back cuz I was the 1 in the wrong.. When Michael couldn't bash me he was really angry.. he went 2 sit at corner... I went 2 him and apologised.. He said: go to hell la you. I knew that he was really angry in that moment and wouldn't forgive me.. so I waited a while... I didn't know what to do.. so I took my pillow(Jack N Jill) and gave it to him... I expected him to reject my chips.. but he actually took it! so I was quite relieved.. I didn't really like Jack N Jill chips anw.. my mum was the 1 who gave it to me and put it in my bag. Everything went back to normal a while after that... we may have gotten even closer cuz of this accident? I dunno...
There was this Outing to east coast park after that..
It was pretty fun... I loved the game where we had to 1st dip our faces into a tray of water and use our mouths to hold a mentos sweet... we had 2 spit it in a plastic bag after that.. and walk on our knees to another tray that was full of flour.. we had to search for a sweet wrapper inside the flour with our mouths.. I was lucky i saw part of the wrapper when i was gonna search. so only my mouth got flour over it.. the flour stuck 2 my mouth as there was water on it.. cuz of the 1st part... I loved that game! seeing all my other frens get flour all over their faces... but I didn't like the part where I had to play it...
anw that was almost all that happened for the 2nd day.
19th Nov Sunday:
okay.. this the day where we get to go to Pulau Ubin. It was kinda exciting at first while sitting on the boat and waiting for it 2 reach... but when we reached there, all the activities wren't that fun.. I would say.. the trip was torture! we had to walk like dunno how mani km arh.. now that was the part that really sucked.. whats more, my group member Shaun was damn irritating.. daniel was okay, the only irritating part abt him was, he loved walking! now.. who loves walking man? except him. He didn't seem to feel tired at all.. after walking for like.. 2-3km. When I asked him if he liked this trip, he said: Yes! walking is fun! I was like.. omg... you are 1 weird guy.. and the last part... I'll say later. The rest of the members were great lah.. the gals helped 2 gain so much points for the team.. whereas I, didn't do much. I even forgot abt our last duty on the last night for dinner.. really sorry fellow group members.. as I was sayin, Shaun was really damn irritating.. during the trip, he kept burning those stupid mosquito coils, whats more, whatever anyone said, he would come and extra.. sayin 'Lame!' his fav word. I was damn irritated arh.. he thinks hes damn cool... didn't noe pr6s could b so irritating nowadays.. ok.. so we had to go through all that suffering in Pulau Ubin.. after that was the best! we had COP(concert of prayer) I think? Anw, after that was the revealing of secret pal!! it was the best.. It lasted till 12+ in the morning. Actually.. it wasn't that good, for me. Mine was the most embarrassing one. When it was my turn to go up, I was so nervous I couldn't even smile properly.. it wasn't obvious though.. I felt my cheeks twitching. I found it realli tiring to smile properly.. So anw, I went up and Guo Nian went back cuz he was there alr and I had 2 go up as he was my secret pal.. so, that was how they continued. We were supposed 2 say our name and what our secret pal gave us... I guessed it was daniel. As I asked him on the previous day, are you my secret pal? he turned anway from me and said: 'I dun tell you'. So I thought it was him.. What made me ask him? hmm.. my secret pal gave me some sweets and a note sayin 'dear dexter, I'm your secret pal.. I'm ur sister dede, hope you enjoyed this camp and the sweets'.He said smth like that.. On that same day, Daniel was talking abt Dexter's Lab.. the stupid show on cartoon network... so I thought it was him. As I was sayin.. I went up.. and said:'I'm, dexter and.. my secret pal gave me some sweets. Daniel png! come out now! I know its you! *pointing at him*' he just stared blankly at me.. after a while, a group of ppl started laughing... then another guy came out.. it was Lionel from JYC comm. I was really suprised.. or shocked.. I was lost for words. I had said:'Daniel Png! Come out now!' so loudly on the microphone.. I wanted to say smth like.. 'sorry sorry.. pai seh, wrong guy'. but I was lost for words! yah.. so that was the most embarrassing part of the secret pal.. After that we were supposed 2 do whatever we liked.. we didnt even need to sleep cuz it was the last night of JYC. 1 prob.. it was in the church and there were mani ppl living near it.. so we couldn't make loud noises... Me and my frens played dodgeball for a while till we had 2 stop all activities when the girls made too much noise.. its really sad lah.. stopping all acvities at 3+ in the morning oni.. we had 2 go back 2 sleep...
20th Nov Monday:
Woke up a little late.. missed 5BX
Maybe they let us miss it cuz.. we slept late the previous night.. or should I say, slept this morning... Anw.. we had some sharing abt the camp and... cleaning up the whole place after that.. that was all for JYC'o6.. I was kinda dissapointed the camp ended so early... I hope they make it 5 days next year.. or maybe 6 days.. that would b the best! so anw.. me, ben, leon and joel walked 2 bedok food court after JYC.. we ate lunch there, and that was it.. I called my mum 2 fetch me home.. and that was all for JYC'o6.
okay.. I forgot 2 put my dorm members... I going 2 kenneth's blog 2 refer :P

[both Linus and Reuben came into our room cause their roomates were telling ghost stories and they were scared. haahahaha]

Few more things I have to say.. to all fellow Shechem group members: It has been great being in the same group as you ppl! thank you for not blaming me on not helping out much.. despite me not helping out much, our group got 3rd place.. we would have gotten 2nd or 1st place if I helped out.. really sorry and thanks!
