Some of the South Korean hostages are still not freed! Why is this so? This really proves my parents right that mission trips are dangerous. Now my mum even told me “see? I have my reasons for not letting you go”. I really don’t know what to think anymore. They went there on a mission to do God’s will but instead they were held hostages and now even 1 or 2 of them have been killed. What the hell. Is this a test to prove their trust in God? Still, none of them should have been killed?! Didn’t it say in the bible that god will bless the ones who serve him? Or something like that. But anyway, the point is
wheres God? Why did he allow such a thing to happen?
I just don’t understand.

'But if serving the Lord seems undesirable to you, then choose for yourselves this day whom you will surve, whether the gods your forefathers served beyond the river, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you are living. But as for me and my household, we will serve the Lord.'Joshua 24:15 - CrossRoads
